Community History
Manchester's Bangladeshi community is one of the most vibrant in the north of England. Many families settled in Rusholme's famous "Curry Mile" and surrounding areas, building a community that is now deeply integrated into Manchester's diverse urban fabric. The community runs its own schools, mosques, and cultural organisations.
